In general I prefer leather strap before bracelet. The problem with these vintage watches is that it’s very hard to find taper straps that fit the original buckles. And it’s also very hard to find the original buckles. There were some vintage double foldi...

I find this feature great because my wrist changes size a lot during the day! With normal clasp/strap I often need to change hole during the day… Thank you, Ed! Best Blomman

How JLC thinks of such practical features. Changing the hole during the day and night becomes rather inconvenient. Especially for someone who wears a watch tight. Ed

Blomman, As a very recent owner of one of those bracelets, I only notice the spring clasp on mine after your post. It's a very cool concept, an mine is working as a charm, because during the summer days, most of the time here, I can give good use of this ...

I think I found something better to use instead a paperclip. So, OK – let’s start over! Take away the paperclip and cut a fitting piece of the spring. Put the spring and clasp in place again. OK, let’s test if the bracelet is elastic. Yes, now it’s workin...
