Get the MUT 38!

I own both the MUT Jubilee in platinum and the MUT 38 in steel.  Top reasons:
1.  Cost, the Jubilee is expensive because of the platinum case and it's very limited.  An excellent MUT 38 in excellent condition can be had for around 1/3rd the price of an excellent condition Jubilee platinum.
2.  Comfort; the MUT 38 has a wider strap.  Much more comfortable.
3.  Comfort; the MUT 38 has a big crown for comfortable winding.  The tiny crown on the Jubilee is painful to wind.  Especially on a regular basis.
4.  The look; the MUT 38 with its starburst satin dial and nicely applied numerals look extremely elegant.  The Jubilee has an extremely formal look with its very white dial; I'd only wear it with a tuxedo and it's never been worn outside of the house in its life.

The Jubilee has only a few advantages:
1.  It's special.  It's platinum!
2.  It's got a solid case back (which I like because it means more platinum and it means I don't have to see the lack of anglage on the movement - I care a lot about anglage finishing).
3.  It's rare.

An extremely likable timepiece.
