Aaah, the Reverso Septantième, all an era! This Reverso is the first member of the Reverso XGT line ( XGT for Très Grande Taille=Very big size ), and it is true that the Septantième inaugurated a case whose proportions were very generous. While the GT Cas...  

But I remember this watch, it is one of the Reverso that could easily disturb my original attractions. A beautifully made Reverso and easy on the wrist too.

Because I do not like wearing someone else timekeeper, stupid I know but I just feel so inconfortable using something that is not mine. More strange, I do not mind lending whatever is mine.

I can understand the time taken to get to the stage where you buy a watch. You need to try it on, but also understand/ appreciate it too. Cheers JML

I own and love one of its offspring, the Grande Sun/Moon: It took me a long time to get over the sense that the case was simply too big. In order to do that, I had to move past my idea that the Reverso must only be understood as a discreet gentleman's kin...  

The longest I have owned a watch for is 5 years so I hope to be more loyal to my watches from now onwards! Your Reverso is outstanding and suits your wrist well.

Harkens back to the old time of JLC where they made such beautiful complications for a modest price.

It def deserves to be in your amazing collection my friend . Hope to add a nice and beautiful JLC Reverso too one day . A watch that belongs in every wis collection I believe .

Really missed the days when reverso has lots of complications (perpetual calendar, chronograph, even minute repeater) and yet in such a discrete and small case. Cheers, Henry

And very relevant for me because I got my first Reverso only recently. As I looked at and tried on the offerings, one major debate in my mind was about the sizes. (Tim Mosso on YouTube has a great size comparison video wherein he compares about 8 differen...  

Such a beautiful watch! Curious to know the lug spacing / strap width? Can’t seem to find this info on other sites and reviews. Is it 20 mm like many other reversos?

This watch and your love affair with it always makes me smile, I bought and sold a couple of XGT Reverso’s along the way, sticking to the most sober one ...  

Have always admired these heavies, rose and plat -- particularly the dial layouts.
