And I am sorry for the delay in the answer. I saw this watch on the flesh in 2007-2008, don’t remember exactly. But it imprinted in my head so strongly that it became one of my grail watches, it was in my “lost in an island” watch list. But same as you: it seemed always out of my reach. But the time came and I didn’t think it much, so I grabbed it without hesitation and haven’t regretted for a single moment. This watch has so much to offer, high horology complications, craftsmanship and a unique bold and masculine look (even if the time I first saw it, it was on the wrist of a beautiful and tall brunette model, and it looked also fantastic!). A sign of an era gone by? I don’t know, but I tend to wear it for the rest of my life ‘till I pass it to my dearest son.

I recommend you to follow your instinct. You won’t regret it.

Have a happy Saturday, dear friends. This watch has virtually obliterated every other watch in my collection for the last days. I like every fine detail: the polished indexes, date frame and bevels, the multi dimensional levels of the dial, the fine brush...

I am really impressed how it fits my 17cm wrist, which speaks a lot about a great design! As for the Movado, with a 34mm case, it is a sweet little piece, but very wearable for most of us. Thanks for your kind comment. René

That watch has been on my want list forever, never fully crossed over to the need list. I never seem to have enough money laying around when a really good deal shows up on one of those. It's ridiculously large but that's kind of the fun and was emblematic...
