I tried to talk about the different font types used for the date in the SS and the RG Chrono model.
I was just curious about that. It was not about the position of the date window (even if there were discussions about that too.)
BTW I think that the font the used for the RG model is the better choice.

P.S. Coming back to your remark about the location of the date window: You wrote that cal. 75x would probably not allow for a different locxation of the date window than between the 4 and 5. It seems that with cal 751 the 6 o'clock position is also possible:
With the new "Master Compressor Chronograph 2", the date window moved to the 4/5 o'clock position and the JLC web site calls the movement 751/1 now:
BTW: I think new new solution is the better one For the MCC because it gives a more balanced dial.
