As my collection grows to an extent that it offers nearly all watch styles that I like, recently I start finding straps to better (imo only) match the dials. It's fun and yet challenging process, of course not comparable to collecting watches itself, but ...

Your silver dial version looks more sober and elegant than my black one, while the assymetric version has a lively and causal personality. Different fits satisfy different needs!

Your observation are still better than mine. I bought this preowned, and the seller didn't mention the AM logo. I only discovered it in after-purchase-research! And it is indeed a nice surprise

Not listed as #4 (but I believe it was), and subtly included within the regular JLC line - and yet, it was the AM version! Great piece! And the least expensive AM JLC ever made. -Dean

Yes it could be the most subtle AM version of JLC

To be honest, I loved the watch but the original alligator strap has too think the padding to be comfortable. Now the rubber strap gives it a new life, and I definitely would wear it more

What I knew from internet, this AM version is not a limited edition vs the alarm and the chronograph introduced at the same time. I'm not sure for how long before it discountinued though
