I have a préférence for the SS version.
As you are a guy who visits construction sites, I would say that the SS version is more adapted to your line of work as it is les s prone to getting dinged or scratched against a wall or a beam.
Of course, if you are a very careful person there is no problème getting the RG version.

I prefer SS in most watches...
