I just wondered if your taste was going in the direction of the '70 and The Return of the Saint? Not sure the watch is for me but the more I think about the P1800 the more I like it! I guess that even if I am myself from the '70, I am much more attracted ...

Finally! ;) This is a nice hidden secret that you are revealing now! But it is also a double revelation as the italian light seems to be the perfect one to reveal this watch. It can be hard to understand these 70s chronometers with the 906 movement. But w...

These Cal 906 came only one year before the AP R.O and 5 years before the Naughty Lus... ;) It clearly shares an inpsiration from the Seventies. Best, Nicolas

Nicolas, congrats! As you know, I am fascinated by the chronometer theme. The cal 906 is JLCs endgame trying to fend off quartz with high beat chronometer movements...no chance at the time. The 2400x series is so over looked and under rated. I own two 240... 

I worked on a review I will post later, but I can already tell you that JLC doesn't have the production numbers of the 24000, I mean of the different dials. I am sure Zaf knows the existence of the 24001, but I guess that he didn't have one to publish it ... 

... but your blue dial plus 24000 is much rarer to find... congrats, Nico. stefan (here is mine, 24002-42 in white dial on bracelet) ...
