I made the same mistake
I also own the PT and it seemed so far ahead of the SS that it felt ok to move on from it. Well i have yet to find a watch that has given me equal pleasure. Perhaps the watch collecting lifestyle isn't complete without these missteps. But unlike lost girlfriends, we can usually recapture the watches. But time will tell if the romance of my mind will materialize when we get reacquainted.
