I would stick with the EWC
That Reverso is a beauty for sure, but I don't think it surpasses the EWC in any way. They are very similr watches in many ways, and they both have the cal. 75X family of chrono movements inside, which is a very good thing. The EWC will give you the versatility of easy strap and bracelet changes, greater water resistance and shock protection for sports activities.
Either watch is terrific. This Squadra is particularly big, however, bigger than the other Reversos you mentioned, so trying it on is a must to see how it fits your wrist.
You have owned and still own some really nice JLCs, by the way. Good luck in adding to the family.
