Master Moon 140.2.98s - correct presentation box
I'd be grateful in any experts could help me with this. I have a beautiful rose gold Master Moon from 2002 which I bought preowned. It came with the wooden JLC box including shiny metal loupe. However, most adverts I have seen with this model for sale are with the smaller, standard navy leather box. Which of these is correct? I have both and would like to make sure I keep the right one.
Many thanks!

Appreciate the reply Amanico. Strange that none of the ones I’ve seen advertised have come with that one. Maybe they get sold on separately or the dealers in some places have sold them in the blue box.
At that time...

JLC was fazing out the white box from the '90s and using the blue box. The did offer a wooden box with certain gold models, but not usually with a loupe. The original dealer may have opted for the higher grade box, since JLC did offer retailers some optio...
Very useful information.

So essentially, neither box is "incorrect" but the wooden version with loupe would have been at the original dealers discretion and the blue faux leather box is the norm? In that case I guess I'll keep the lovely wooden box and store/sell the blue one. Th...
