I found an old picture of a Master Reveil in my hard disc, which I find very appealing. The Memovox is and has always been a superb blend of elegance, class, charm and friendly complication. There were so many since 1950! Small, big, complicated, manual, ...  

.. and almost synonimous for JLC, which may even more be the case for the Reverso. Somehow, these two are pillars of LGM . - The Memovox in all her versatility is an iconic pleasure to me ! Thank you for reminding us and also for the share, Best, hs

Hi This has a lot of appeal - if I'm going to add another alarm then this is a very strong contender. Very elegant implementation. It'd be good to add an auto alarm to my collection. More broadly - I don't know what it is about this periods Master series,... 

Lovely, Nicholas. Could you tell us what is the difference between this and the Memovox? They look identical.

There were several, indeed. This one, with the Cal 914, a manual version ( with the Cal 918 rotor which was removed ) from 1996 to 2002: 36 mm case. Black or silver dial. Or this one, which was re introduced in the catalog in 2010, and still in productio...  

I was trying to remember why this one says Réveil instead of Memovox Mine says hello. I also have a handwound version from the 50's, but currently being graced by my beloved fiancée. A wonderful Sunday, dearest Nicolas, Alexandros ...

spot on, as always :-) as soon as I will be back home tomorrow, I will take a couple of pics of my vintage one and send them over. It is a hand wound version, with the very thin crowns, if that helps give an idea. All the very best, dearest Nicolas, Alexa...

Dear Nicolas, just very curious whether the alarm mechanism is reliable and durable based on your experience? It's indeed a very useful function for a frequent traveller.

I never had issues. I love to live with an Alarm Watch! Best, Nicolas
