MY favorite of 2012, for sure!!!!
One the one hand, as can be seen by my Avatar, I REALLY like a solid back for personalization, and the 976 size makes for an awesome canvas! However, the base 822 movement - with it's classic long bridge and layout - is reminiscent of the movements that JLC supplied to AP, PP, VC, and uses in the Ultra Thin.
What to do? I think JLC has limited us in that regard.
I DO think that the Grande Reverso Calendar is a watch I could live with and wear EVERYDAY for the rest of my life in all business and casual situations (and then keep the Navy Seals GMT Chrono for more rugged activity).

Strange post title? Well, if you think so you may never have tried to make up your mind about which JLC to own next. Even choosing from the range of Reversos has been too much of a task up to now. This may be because up to now I stick to a "one of a kind"...

I liked it at first sight
But have only seen pictures of it and not of it in the 'flesh'. However I heard that some collectors think the date aperture is a bit too small and puts a strain on the eye. I personally like the look though - very vintage looking :- )

That Cal. 843 looks familiar to me!
Is it just my imagination or is it a derivative of the "old" Cal. 822 from the 90s? If so, than it should (really) fit into the smaller GT-case. It is so sad that GT has been pronounced dead by JLC. Christian

AFAIK, the 843 being close to the 822 it can be encased in a GT case.
Watch cases sizes as available as tee shirt sizes... Didn't think about that. it is hard, not to say impossible, to get a consensus on a size, more seriously. Some find the GT case too small, others like it, and it is the same for the 976 an the Grande Re...
