Jaeger-LeCoultre

My understanding

is that the chrono pusher locks are not rubber seals and do not add to the water resistance ability of the watch.  like the more traditional screws on pushers, they simply prevent the chrono pushers to be pressed down accidentally.

i think the water resistance rating does not get affected when the pushers are left in an unlocked position.  they will be just like chrono pushers without locking mechanism; you can still swim with it but just remember not to press them while underwater as they are not designed to be operable underwater like some other chronos, for example, the new BP FF.
