Thanks for the kind words, JMan -- getting a shot like this requires a fair amount of luck with lighting and camera placement -- suffice it to say that I clicked the shutter a lot of times to get this one! Since you asked, though, I'll try some more photo...

I was not impressed by the Reverso, at this moment: Cool, but not for me. But, a bit later, I was smitten by 2 pieces: The Memovox, and the ... Geographique. I made a promise to myself that one day, I will get both. Well, I'm half the way, and still need ...

And photo! I love to see that your beauty shows signs of wearing. Nicks and scratches is a part of life… If a 15 years old watch doesn’t show traces of life – has it really lived? An interesting detail, “L.ANGELES”, on vintage WT’s JLC used “S.FRANCISCO”.... 

I wish this one said S. Francisco, as that's where I live! Tried to meet your request for further details with a new post above, and added a photo of the reverse of the watch. I'm getting to be very picky about which photos I'll post, and it can be a lot ...

Tks Gary. Now can anyone tell what is the difference btw. the model with a reserve hour of 40 and the model that's 45 ? 45 hr reserve should be the newer model, right ? And the cal. is 939 etc as oppose to 899 ? Cheers

And this old Master Geo embodies how the classics remain relevant. To be a little cliched, form and function are one here and that explains the time on your wrist. So much more elegant than the GMT arm craze that JLC's been on lately.

I had its sister on my wrist this Friday and took a pic for the WristScan, mine hasn't got Denver on the dial though:) it's maybe a cousin after all:) Lovely, lovely watch and keeping the time so accurately. Kind regards from Down Under. Francois
