Most probably one of the coolest modern Jaeger-Lecoultre, as cool as the vintage can be. The Tribute To Deep Sea Alarm is faithful to the original, more sensual, maybe, but cooler than the Polaris? Let's vote! Best, Nicolas ...

The period design, graphics and size make it a winner.

just looks better to me however wouldn t ever buy a reedition.

But the Polaris is not far off. I think the overall wrist presence is perfect with the DSA. The size is great, and that dial — one of a kind. I find it to be one of the best remakes ever done by JLC

Would I have to put my money down though...no contest. The Polaris. It is unique

but if push comes to shove I would have to choose the Tribute for all the features already discussed.

I like the lack of date on the Deep Sea, but otherwise Polaris all the way. Striking dial!

TT Polaris is a better everyday watch, with the date and internal rotating bezel. It will be the one I choose to wear. The DSA US is more special thanks to the unique alarm disk. It will be the one to collect. If I really have to choose one ..... ummmm th...

I actually got the 50th anniversary Polaris Memovox that was released last year. However, the European Dial DeepSea Alarm was the second runner up.

Owning both of the full line up is maybe the way to go ...  

I've been looking at both and trying to reach a decision. Eventually, both will have to be the answer but, at least for today the nod goes to the Polaris. Kent

Polaris gets my vote, especially the recent 50th anniversary.

JLC got the hands right here and they are unique.
