Question about the polaris tribute 68
Hello. I am a few years late. Has been admiring the tribute to Polaris 68 for a white and finally acquired one couple of days ago. Shall post some photos later when I have the chance. Looking at you guys' beautiful shots I discover something weird. The dial markers on mine doesn't lume at all! So the only luminating things are the hands and the numbers i.e. 6, 9 and 12. All the others including the index, rotating bezel and alarm disk triangle are not luminating at all. what's wrong?
I am quite sure this has the "correct" colour dial fitted, as the markings are yellowish instead of orange. But how come there's no lume?

Normal. Do a search here, on the JLC Forum...
Use the Key Word " Polaris " in our search engine, and you will have a lot of posts. The TTP came with 2 dials, one, quite rare, with orange indexes, which is luminous, and the other, yours, with beige indexes, non luminous. Nice watch, anyway! Best, Nico...

Browsed through the search, the first 190 TTP are having the full lume orange index dial. Mine is a 2 digits number, so I assume it's within the first batch? Or are the numbers random?
