Jaeger-LeCoultre

Slight corrrection, if memory serves...

1:15pm, March 4, 1931 - Reverso Patented by Rene-Alfred Chauvot.

First movements were Tavanes movements (affiliated with CYMA).

1932 First Reverso with Caliber 410

1932 10 cases delivered to PP (JLC was a primary supplier of movements to them at the time)

The first company was launched as "Reverso" - under "Specialties Horologeres."

During the "quiet years," Reversos were made by JLC for Cartier, but the brand also allowed Hamilton, and others to use the design.

Just a little beginning.....
