Some improvements on my Deep Sea Alarm US.
Before:
2 things:
The bezel was curiously " dinged " every 5 minutes ( not the insert, but the bezel ).
The crowns were far from being the correct one.
So, I was on the hunt for a mint bezel ( insert is exeprtly redone ) and for some crowns which were faithfully made from an original set.
It is done, now.
Here is the result.
Pay some attention to the very special shape of the crown at 2 o clock...
Now, a look on the sweet flawless bezel:
This Deep Sea Alarm is indeed a sexy Vintage watch!
Strong, appealing, elegant at the same time... Certainly one of the most, if not the most, attractive Vintage JLC Diver.
And what to say when the pleasure is double?
Give me one more month, and I will come back with a deeper post about these marvels...
