That's a cool idea. On my side, I have also been wondering what strap would match with this red dial ...If anyone has a strong opinion, I would be interested in hearing it. I've already seem Mo's burgundy strap in the thread above, which is a great option...

I also do like my Grande GMT a lot. but they play in different categories. This red is pure classic with this "dandy" touch from the 30's.
