Most of the time, the JLC OEM Straps don't match in quality with the watches of this Manufacture. One of the worst is the TTP strap. In my opinion, don't go on another OEM strap, except if you want to keep it in the box. Go for an aftermarket, you will be... 

The straps of TTP are quite rubbish. I am dreaming about the original style bracelet but because it is not very likely that JLC would produce such, I am wearing my Polarises with croco straps and folding clasps. The Pt. clasp I will receive next month. Wh...

Hi Kari, I also use a folding clasp on my platinium Polaris strap but it is a white gold because JLC told me that it doesn't exist in Platinium. Are you sure that it is a Platinium folding clap? It coule be new Best Marc

sure! The clasp was ordered from a JLC Boutique and the delivery time was many months. The price is quite exacrly 50% of Lange's clasps. Many platinum JLC have a folding clasp so I don't understand why you were told that those do not excist. You can check... 

I don't understand because when I told them the same thing, they answord me that Platinium is to "soft" to maie clasp and that every Platinium watches are delivered with white gold folding clasp. If it is not true, I am angry because I have pay a lot for ... 

In the JLC Boutique the platin one cost just a little bit less! To be honest I think that many ADs fool us by giving a small rebate on the watches and after that try to rip us off. In the Boutiques the prices are always "right" but the service is really g...

Hi Aziz, I don't wear the Polaris with the original strap. I am using the OEM strap made for the Extreme World and it is perfect for the watch. It is the black croc with black stiches. I hope that help! Best regards. Marc

I put the EWC's croc strap (mine is brown) on the Pola for a while. It looked good, but i am still thinking I will switch toa nato strap. respo

I like the Nato strap on diving watch but I find the Polaris (aïnou the 1968 PT) to dressy for that By the way do you have a pic with the black dia l and the brown strap. Wasn't it strange? I'm not fan of black with brown... Best Marc

Sorry the pics are not better, but hopefully it will give you an idea. The brown croc is pretty dark, and I like the combination of black, gray and brown -- but not for everyone, I suppose. I agree that the Pola '65 is an interesting watch -- somehow dres...  

It really looks great, and of course the watch itself could host a myriad of straps and only look stunning.

That's fine Respo. Mine has black stitching but with white ones it is also great. But in all cases, it is allways a pleasure to see such a great watch. One of the best JLC for me ;-) Regards

Marc, thanks for the info/hint. I will pursue this and I am also trying to order a custom strap (rubberized leather) from ABP in the mean time. I live in Dubai and options are really limited here when it comes to finding straps etc.
