Quite possible indeed. And a minute a week is only 8.5 seconds a day...

The 1000 hr control is supposed to be even stricter than COSC, Im not sure if it gets tested based on 1 position for a day, or rotating in different positions throughout the day and then the deviations gets measured...

The only watch in my collection which is more accurate is the Grande Reverso 976 at about +0.5 second a day. All my other watches are like +3 or +4 seconds a day with one exception being my 2009 Omega Seamaster Ploprof which loses 3 seconds every day righ...
