3 pics to show the similarities between the Polaris 65, which has just been re edited this year, and the Vintage Black Memovox. Well, the shape and the diameter of the cases are different, so as the crowns, and the case backs, but if you look at the hands...  

I have to congratulate you practically every week ... LOL .... That Memovox is a very nice catch, well you know i like these divers too ... The lugs are much wider on the new one ... or am i wrong here? When you receive your (pair of Solaris .... two ???)... 

Bigger on the Polaris...Bigger, I mean thicker ,and more curved... Yes, this is a great catch, and in the spirit of the Polaris, indeed. Now, I have to hunt a Geophysic, a Geomatic, a Pilot Wat " Weems ", a Mark XI, and a Deep Sea alarm, but in its Erupoe...

Congrats Nicolas... this Polaris 65 is amazing, really!!!. A great hunt, my friend. Really, the "air of family" is evident. I love this kind of "airs of family": mothers, daughters and.... grandchildren ... LOL^3 The granddaughter recently arrived at home...  

And I ordered the '65 Re Edition, and the '68 Re Edition, so 3 Polaris... So, now, my friend you're the happy owner of a Black Memovox with this beautiful Amvox I !!! Big big big congrats, my friend. I'm so happy to see that you chose such a great watch! ... 

Tomorrow I hope to be able to take pictures of this beauty, this "modern black memovox." And, of course, it will present in society as it deserves. My first feeling ...???. While being a modern watch, this air of "tribute" is clear, and that's what I like... 

when you find the free time, could you please maybe make a picture post showing both of the new polaris (there is 2 right?) and both the old pieces they come from? u had made a post before but with all the watches in one picture, i honestly could not figu...

i like the 1968 re edition most, that just increased my chances of seeing one 10 fold!

What drove you to decide yourself on the Pola? Why are you in love with? I'm so happy to see that you badly want one, but can you elaborate why you decide finally to hunt one? Best. Nicolas

thats only part im questionable on with the reissue... i would REALLY love the DBS cordova/leather strap on it.. im not sure if that would blend as well as i think.. maybe just a Black NATO or even better a yellowish orange NATO if i can find one.. but so...

Yep, this Black Memovox is in a stunning condition, indeed, with its gilt wording, and its non re painted dial... These Vintage Memos are really sexy, my friend, and the virus is quite easy to catch. But the Happyness is here, too, intense, deep, and real... 

Nicolas, yes, the dial is in an amazingly excellent condition. It must have been a long hunt to find such a minty black dial Memovox. Good work! I started out briefly in the vintage section and it also took me a while to find a minty all original dial JLC... 

After a long and painful hunt...I found a black dial vintage memovox at a correct price. But, there are some points that do bother: -No "swiss made" inscription -Two crowns that are probably not original -No jaeger logo on the dial -Tha baton hands with t...
