Seriously, like you, Jerome, I think that the simpler is the nicer, and yes, I 'm considering the simpler diving watch as an alternative to my Panerais.
I have to say that I'm not very keen on the Chrono, which is a bit too busy for me, but that's just my personal taste.
As for the Depht meter, I 'm intrigated by this one.
I love to see the mechanism working on the dial.
It has a very special look, and a lot of character.
But the size is.....BIG! LOL
Maybe too big for my chicken wrist.LOL
Finaly, if I had a quite big wrist, I think I'd go on the Depht Meter, for its originality.
Just my 2 Euro Cents.

i had the privilege to see and feel the diver gmt at the boutique...... indeed it is beautiful and very well-made..... and at such a reasonable price is quite a steal for a titanium dive watch.... certainly looking forward to see the entire range soon.......
