What a pair!

 

It is so nice to see these two considered together and photographed so beautifully. 

For me, they both represent what is so exciting about Jaeger LeCoultre: the harmonious marriage of horological innovation and breathtaking design. Even though it is difficult to compare the two, they are each distinctively JLC, each offering strong evidence of the brand's DNA.  What is so wonderful about paring these two marvels for consideration is that  you ask us to reflect on how JLC has advanced the mechanical chronograph in recent years. The AMVOX challenges the very concept of how we intereact with our watches with its pusherless design; the Duo innovates on the high end of movement design and execution that challenges the foremost examples of chonographs for the top spot in this category.    

You did the right thing, the only thing, Nicolas, and got them both.  How could you not?

Both are  favorites of mine among all watches.  In the end, the AMVOX continues to make my heart beat a little faster.  Every time I see the AMVOX2, I am once again caught up in the longing. How is it that I still ldo not have this watch?  LOL

Though i got to admit that the chrono mechanism is quite interesting, original,... one down side, u will end up have a perfect finger print on ur watch when activating the chrono, and another when stopping it. The thing that bothers me the most though is ... 

So, Karim, wear gloves

... they let ur finger breath ... Anyway u put it, ur gonna get ur finger prints at noon and at 6 o'clock. Focusing on the duometre right now, my mind still on it. She is on the top of my JLC list. That's the one i want put my finger on... and in RG! K.

Call me conservative, but I'm not very much fond of concept watches. Duometre is one of the best examples of true horology in the current market. And it is also a good lesson for high end brands that inovation in movements is always possible. Despite its ...

Its not just the design of the dial, and the complication of its movement, but I really am impressed with the accuracy of its chronograph display.

Thankfully I am fortunate enough to own both of these amazing chronos but put a gun to my head and I must choose the Duometre. It is just a joy to view in motion.
