Also given the complexity of the movement and 6 years of development time, would they even make money by selling only 10 pieces at 1.35M Euro each?

This is the JLC I am missing. The creativity and self-confidence in this watch is second to none. So many good choices have been made here, with the (to me) best ones being the size of the watch and the focus on the user experience demonstrated by the box...
