why would u turn bezel underwater?
used to time dive, you turn to needed spot BEFORE diving and then while diving it tells you time submerged... or well time left..
you dont wanna turn it under water, unless you found a spare tank while diving and wanted to increase dive time

... I'm not an expert at all with regards to the Polaris, but I wouldn't operate any crown under water on any watch. Isn't an internal timing bezel a bit of a faux pas with any compressor watch?... e.g. you cannot operate under water.

And as for your thought about Compressor Cases and internal bezel, I tend to agree, but historicvally speaking, the olaris Vintage is in the same situation, as The LOngines Diver Vintage is, too... These anomalies or faux pas are so lovely..LOL There are ...
