I have a 1970s chronometer with a cal 906 movement. The watch is a JLC prototype, used to demonstrate new or potential models to buyers. Perhaps this would explain the poor quality of the movement finishing, plastic parts, painted Jaeger LeCoultre logo, e...

I have a real soft spot for these thin octagonal 70's designs, could be JLC, could be Omega, could be some of the really thin Gentas. Congrats!
