Chopard and Bulgari are in a different playground
Hi Ed,
I agree that Chopard/Bulgari are great surprises. Chopard in particular has had an amazing transformation in their watchmaking department. I need a bit more convincing with Bulgari. HW...downhill since Max left imho.
The Montblanc Villeret collection, though, is in a completely different playground. Take a look at Kong's visit reports to Chopard and then re read Don's reports to Villeret. I think you will see two different manufactures with different focuses. The Montblanc Rieussec release had the same jaw dropping "great c/p surprise" discovery element. Wouldn't you agree? 
If you are into mechanical chronographs there is no doubt in my mind that the Villeret should be on the premium list.

Here is Chapter 2 of Don's report. My personal opinion is that the Rieussec model will be the one to keep your eye on. If your tastes are a bit more conservative and your wallet a bit thicker I would jump to the Villeret collection without hesitation. But...
