Good choice
I am busy to choose and attach straps to one of my vintage Roamer, and other vintages.
Last night i looked at some Minerva’s online for inspiration, and watch sizes and prices.
The strap you chose, a taupe is also i think it blend good to the case.
I went for a sandy sailcloth or light brown if you wish.
Sailcloth is maybe not fine for vintage watches, but i wil check if it fits my watch.
I bought a dark brown simple leather strap with stitches, because i have the feeling this is better than the sandy sailcloth i ordered.
A taupe strap is also a good idea to buy soon.
Now i must wait and wait when the postman throw the stuf onto my doormat.

No Incabloc for the V71 with the batch of 32. Well spotted. 👏 The Aviation, also with the v71 has Incabloc shock protection. The batch of movements is from a different batch. 🤝

With the quick release, it’s fun and easy to change too. This strap is a tad thicker as well. Necessary as a flat one would contrast too much with the substantive case. 🤝

A bit lighter but no issues. It’s not a small watch. 42 mm case diameter with a 14 1/2 ligne (32.7 mm) size for the valjoux 71 calibre, solid pink gold applied indices … there is heft. 🤝
