I concur, there is an issue with the movement.
Unfortunately if you send the watch for service you will be facing an 8-12 month wait.
And yes, the white gold ones came with black dial, I guess this configuration was a one off made for (an important!) customer.
Beautiful watch in any case. I would try to find a qualified watchmaker who can adjust the chronograph instead of sending to villeret for full service (and full service is the only option).
