I hear you
I would think it's just a matter of time before several brands are trying to merge the two technologies and I have to applaud Montblanc for leading the charge. I will say though, I am torn at the same time. I love Apple and if you come to my house you will see an iMac, Macbook Pro, Ipad, AppleTV, iPod, iPhone, etc however I will not be purchasing an iWatch. I think it's a fantastic idea and certainly the next step in the evolution of the smartphone, computer, etc. For me, though, I enjoy wearing a traditional luxury timepiece on my wrist and referring to my iPhone for anything else I might need. I like having both and am not quite ready to meld the two together. I will say though the new Timewalker strap looks fantastic and wouldn't slight anyone for using one because 1) it's Montblanc and 2) it looks damn cool however, I will continue two keep my computer and watch separated...for as long as technology will allow

... it is the evolution towards smart watches (iwatch). Having an e-strap sort of bridges the gap between the convention watches and the iwatch. Quite smart of MB to introduce this.... if it fits like a nato.. might even consider it for one of my watches....
