There will be a special prize from me to you for the most interesting guess.
Looking through various databases, I found this picture from an old abstract dated 2009 from various people associated with Minerva/Montblanc.
Interesting that it looks sort of like my Prescher Sculptura Una for the time display. The 1/4 reference...a repeater?
Alas it is a pocketwatch and there is no chronograph function which has been an integral part of Montblanc's strategy over the past few years.
But that is my guess...
Anyone else? or do I get to keep my special prize

I don't see the TimeWriter series moving away from chronographs, as they would have to change the name! Still, there are so many possibilities. I would love to see a mechanical digital chronograph chronometer perpetual calendar. Note, the chronometer part...
How about just a digital chronograph?
That's a good idea, but I'd be happy with just a digital chronograph. The new Jaeger-LeCoultre Gyrotourbillon 3 has an interesting digital chronograph with digital minutes display. I like your idea!

That would be difficult. I was just thinking a chiming watch that would chime after each minute passed on the chronograph. Basically a chronograph that chimed each passing minute it was operating. But your idea would be even more difficult and elaborate. ...
