I hope to practically test the assertion to answer your first point, let's see the amplitude testing when we obtain a sample to play with. 

Your second point is why I highlighted this characteristic...For a brand claiming to focus on traditional watchmaking techniques on this point they have shown that they have not forgotten the minor details.  It would have been very easy for Minerva to rest on its historical laurels and not improve on the existing calibers but they did.
