Montblanc

They quoted me...

They quoted me £950 for the service and then £1130 for a dial replacement (optional).

As an in-house mono-pusher chronograph, I gathered it will not be cheap but I was thinking closer to £750..... perhaps I am just not up to date/ naive with servicing price.

The dial though is more odd. They said there is damage around the edges. The dial is a stationary part of the watch that is not exposed to the elements. I am not sure how the dial would become damaged on a relatively “young” watch. (6/7 years old) Perhaps I just don’t know enough about watch construction.. I am awaiting more details from them about this.

What do you guys think?
