(New York, New York) -- Madison Avenue is the largest fine timepiece marketplace in North American and will again become the epicenter of haute horology during the 4th annual Madison Avenue Watch Week from May 5- May 10, 2014. The world's premiere watch retailers and brands located on Madison Avenue between 57th and 86th Streets will preview the newest and most exceptional timepieces. New this year, there will be a focus on premier women's watches as well as men's to coincide with Mother's Day shopping, and the newest category of stunning ladies watches.

World's Premier Watch Retailers Will Preview New 2014 Timepieces
Spotlighting Men's and Women's Watch Designs
The retailers celebrating Madison Avenue Watch Week this year are Asprey, Buccellati, Chanel Fine Jewelry, Chopard, David Yurman, de Grisogono, FP Journe, Georg Jensen, Girard-Perregaux, Hublot, John Varvatos, Montblanc, Oficine Panerai, Porsche Design, and Vacheron Constantin who will offer a "first look" to watch connoisseurs of their premier timepieces, many having recently debuted at Baselworld. In celebration of Mother's day, several women's watches are debuting for the women's watch enthusiast and collector during Madison Avenue Watch Week, including Chopard's Imperiale crafted rose gold and Mother-of-Pearl watch with diamonds, sapphires, and amethysts, Georg Jensen's Special Edition Vivianna Diamond Bangle Watch with Dark Mother-of-Pearl Dial, and David Yurman's CLASSIC® 38mm black ceramic quartz timepiece with diamond bezel.
Individually, stores will schedule a private, "by invitation only" event as well as a preview watch exhibition that is open to the public along with select boutiques hosting artisan demonstrations and in-store receptions curated to appeal to the watch connoisseur. On Tuesday, May 6, Hodinkee's Ben Clymer will host a Watch President's Panel Breakfast for timepiece collectors.
