The Georg is one of my favorite designs, haven't been able to try one on yet though

A few friends love them, others have said it feels like wearing an ingot on the wrist. So I'd like to try one out first before committing to a custom piece. My favorite ones are the batch done for a korean retailer. Very funky!

I can attest the Georg being a brilliant watch.

Having championed Marco’s work since 2003 in the US, I’m very familiar with his watches and him. Personally have owned a Johann initially, as the FIII wasn’t yet created when I got that piece. Since then, in 2017 when he showed the Georg in Baselworld, I

If I could pull it off

I’d get the Georg certainly. I have the Friedrich III in rose gold with cathedral hands and it is beautiful there is no denying that but Georg, its sculpted and shaped case, the unbelievable caliber, it is just something else. Heck I’m thinking of buying

Mach, you must be having quite a lot of fun visiting the ADs and trying on stuff!

Another look at Lang & Heyne collection . . .

Still quite tempted by the Georg: What is there not to like! And then, it was the Friedrich III’s: Absolutely love these Cathedral hands: Not the best look at the engine room with the plastic: This blue is absolutely stunning: But I prefer the Cathedral h

My vote would go to Lang & Heyne Georg

Photo credit: Lang&Heyne The case design and details are just gorgeous and that movement was the reason for me to fall in love with watches.

Four Germans get together in Irvine

I had the enormous pleasure of meeting up with an enthusiast if Independent watchmaking, whom I’ve conversed with over the past 6 years online. We got to enjoy a couple of hours of horology geeking out and he had some stunning pieces to share. Amongst the

Lang & Heyne Georg.

Exquisite is the word. Maybe deliciously outdated, too. But a watch full of charm, and be careful, the movement is a killer! A shot to let you see the decoration of the case: And the killer movement! Best, Nicolas

Yes, a new chrono is coming

Sadly for me, it won’t be the Albert. Which when knowing the story behind it, who made it and why, means so much. The direction change is understandable given the ownership structure and management style. For me, fundamentally the shift from when Marco wa
