If you had to choose between the two, which & why.

I like both, but to wear daily to me PAM 127 is more practical Of course the 'lefty' PAM 217 may turn to be more collectible, 'M&M' is so sweat ;-)...

If I had a 203 then I would prefer the 217... but since that's usually a grail watch for PAM collectors... a 127 is more within reach. So 127 for me. best, OpC

The PAM217 looks lobsided to me everytime I see a picture of it. There's something unbalancing with the "Marina Militare" writing at 12 o'clock whenever I see it. - AT

my pick would be the Fiddy,in spite of it looking like the 203.

and if I had a 203 (my grail Pam) then that would be it. No need for a 217.

I wear it on my left wrist...forget the, "this is for left handers or this is not for right handers" thing...wear it whichever is comfortable to you... The watch literally put on a subtle look, imho, and I prefer the clean look on the movement, which is s... 

I'm a right hander. 47mm is too big on my left wrist. 217 will fit perfectly on my right wrist.
