It is very subtle but the combination of the hues and the applied markers change the tint when compared with a brown sandwich dial. This give the watch a unique personality and a place in the historic lineup. Bill

Hi George I have done my best to put some context with other dials but even then it is pretty hard to capture. I hope these pics inspire you to add another historic to your collection and I hope there are no changes along the way .... dark glass .... Best... 

More and more I read comments that this 390 was made for the real paneristi around the world. A year a go they had this 360 micro edition and those who got one were very happy but with only 300 made, a few thousand were not that happy The 390 looks like t...

Except the fact that it is available at the Boutiques only, which makes me smile when it is such a large LE... It seems that more and more, the brands of the Richemond Group want to favour the Boutiques... Not the ADs... But that is another tiopic. Thanks...

Thanks for posting this. I really like it and it's priced very well. Great comparison pics with the Zero and 232. It somehow looks like a 232 dial stuffed into a 44mm Luminor case. Just imagine if it also had the OP logo above the '6' .

and the 390 is a lovely watch. It looks beautiful. Your comparison with the zero and 232 is really informative. As lovely as the 390 is, it has made me appreciate the true greatness of the zero. Out of all of the Panerai's I own (including the zero and 23... 

The zero is a classic example of Panerai DNA If you are late to the game but still what access to beautiful Panerai heritage the PAM 000 is within reach of everyone.  You may have to sit on the waiting list but you will land on one.  Beautiful l...

I've seen other pics and realize its a difficult dial to photograph but you did a fantastic job. Thanks and congratulations!

Some with natural light and some with a little support. But still then really difficult to capture this why I added the others for contrast to help better illustrate in your minds eye the true qualities of the color combination. Best Bill

Panerai has been doing a great job with the new vintage OEM straps but I like to play with some more rough military looking vintage ammo stuff. I have one strap in mind that took two years to get including a little piece of ammo in the buckle. It is alway... 

Strap can change the personality of the watch... And I've already can imagine what's gonna look good on that 390 Don't forget to post new photos with the strap Best, Sam

Once you start from here you are on the right track. You start at the bottom of the price curve but at the top of the history curve where price is not the determining factor. This is the core. Either you are in or out. the litmus test. In or out..... Now ...

your last photo, the wristshot, is the best PAM390 photo I have seen to date, and it really captures what the PAM390 is like in the metal. unfortunately, what it is like is faux vintage, with a strong emphasis on the faux. I have to admit that I cant put ...

Love the 390, sorry I missed it when it was released.

But I typically hate buying used Panerais because there are so many fakes around.
