Despite early reservations about the logo dial I thoroughly enjoyed my time with my 005. The only thing that I didn't quite enjoy is the crown to crown-protector ratio on 44 bettarini cases, the crown protector is a bit too thick (or the crown a bit too small) to really enjoy the manual winding. This is just personal taste and why I tend to prefer 47 luminors.

My favorite Panerai is still the 232 with 082 close second. Although l had fair share of 47s ( Luminors, Submersibles, and Radiomirs ) my wrist no longer can accommodate them.
