No, no, this is not a new fairy tale coming from my crazy brain...LOL
The Cali is one of the most difficult watch to take in pic, and since quite 18 months that I own it, I rarely took good quality pics of this watch, due to its large cushion polished SS case, its big plexy, and its laquered dial.
Also, as the Pam 36, I considered that the Cali, as all the other Panerais, needed some trip back to the roots, I mean, Italy.
So, this Cali was one of the watches I brought with me, and spending some relaxing time with it, I fell again in love with it.
Why Chiara?
Here's the answer...
Back to its elements, with out forgetting that this watch is only Water Resistan at 30 meters from the beach...LOL, this watch is really to be appreciated here, in a Marina ( Funny for a radiomir..LOL).
So you will tell me that you got the reason for Chiara, but what about the oignions????
Here's one of those occasions to demonstrate my faith in watches, my uncommon love for them, and my total lack of shame...
Go to a small Croatian Village, see some oignions hanging along a wall, and have immediately in mind to ask to the owner of the oignions the permission to take a pic of them, with a Panerai around, and I swear that for a minute or 2, I felt a bit...Dumb! LOLOLOL
You don't believe me?
After the Ham Shot, the Oignions Shot...It was logical, no?
Except for this Istrian Guy, who was as amazed as laughting at me...
but what would I do for you, guys? LOLOL
Now, more conventionnal, certainly, but not less pleasant, the Cali in its real environment, the sea, and more recisely, the beach.
This watch is really a pleasure for the eyes...
As we spoke of minimalist watches, yes, this one deserves to be on the list, minimalist certainly, but an enormous plasure to wear it, to admire it...
End of my song, my friends.
hope you loved it...
Best.
