In my experience....
check-ups for a Panerai, are not required. I have a couple of Pre-V and Pre-A (1993-1997 stuff) that even though i don't use often, I wind up and they start like a charm. If it works, don't fix it Ciao
no issues
I've got the 292, the older sibling. close to 16 or 17 years. never serviced. keeps time and looks like brand new. ceramic case. the bottom is PVD'ed steel, which almost entirely faded now. Changing straps slight pain in the butt though. enjoy
Be careful with Composite
I used to manage a Panerai Boutique for 8.5 years. In one of my trainings they explained how Composite (base is aluminum) material achieves its brown color. Essentially they melt paraffin wax with brown pigment and introduce it to the material. They asked...
