So basically a 4mm smaller version of the limited green dial 1056, with now the downgraded, undecorated, non hacking movement? My goodness. Glad I got the 1056 when it was available.

and I like green. The movement controversy is a concern. Many Panerai have basic movements though. It would come down to how it felt on the wrist and price.

forget the purists. Panerai's commercial growth is steeped in 40mm models. The first 40mm Panerai was produced in...1999. If they still carry a grudge, they should...get a life...really! Some Luminor Due, are very nice IMO. I don't particularly like this ...
