now think , even when Panerai made and the Boss himeself selected those for the famous 203, or how about those who have their name on the famous 195, they were flipped.

I was told that the 5070p Patek was for special customers.....look at how many for sale, same with 5970p Patek

and for an extereme examples, how about the 5131 ...look how many for sale, even minute repeaters...selected by msr Stern himeself...flipped.

The Rolex Daytona....flipped and flipped again

now look at another perspective....

I soooo badly wanted a 29, every AD I went to told me ....sorry no chance

in the end I had to buy one flipped...for £1000 over list price....and it was no.2

but I am glad they did flip it...

this is I am afraid the nature of the game......

I dont think their was or could have been a conspiracy...perhaps names were selected with the best of intentions....but a quick profit can be too much for some. Or maybe they bought the watch, realised they dont like or ..OR..maybe part ex for something else and use the profit....to help buy another watch

whatever it is... some you win and some you do not, I have learnt not too worry about it. Life is too short too worry about it...... unless your pissed you missed on a profit..I dont mean that badly , I really don't, but maybe a subconcious factor in your hurt.
