if you do a google search for "PAM 360" you will better understand the fiasco that was the PAM 360. having witnessed the debacle first hand I can confirm that while the 360 was positioned as a community watch, the site heads had produced a secret list with the names of preselected insiders. At the end of the day only a very small handful were ever available for "random selection", with the overwhelming majority going to the VIPs of the site. Now there isn't anything inherently wrong with the process, but many folks are bitter because of the way the 360 was "sold' to the masses as a community watch that everyone had a fair opportunity to own. IMO most folks who actually believed that were deluding themselves, but that's just my 2 cents. I don't think it's really worth while to get upset over a watch

now think , even when Panerai made and the Boss himeself selected those for the famous 203, or how about those who have their name on the famous 195, they were flipped. I was told that the 5070p Patek was for special customers.....look at how many for sal...

its all very well doing these limited editions but how do you make it fair?? a raffle?..this lets every Tom Dick Harry have ago... I reckon may be atleat 50% of those 2600 applicants were probably going to flip it.. I will tell you my story on the 360.. I...

Art, glad you understand where I am comming from. I understand Imran's point well, and of course sometimes your AD offers you a watch and you think if I don't take it will I be offered another, and yes people do flip its in the nature of buying lots of wa...
