There was a time when I owned over 13 different Panerai. Based on my experience they were always reliable, rugged and appeared and worked very well. My collection is less than half now. I do not own any more 47 mm Panerai. Just my preference for a smaller watch they are a totally different breed and for me you either love them or not.

is that this model, as many other..modern..ones, belongs to the category: I like it, I don't like it. If you do, you buy one, if you don't you don't buy one. It's a scaled down model of an historical reference and as such a definite NO-NO for a Panerai pu...
