I have a different opinion....
of course. For me, the "old school" should refer to the Florentine period. Timepieces with 3-6-9-12 dials or 3-6-9-12+small seconds counter, manual winding. Something like the 21, 232, 249, 002, 009 etc. A Submersible with the date window+cyclop, with an automatic movement and a dial that is "busier" than that of a Breiteling, I've always considered Swiss Jobs 
24 meets 25

At the bar or in a club shiny is the way to go, but deep down inside, real men know brushed Ti is where the real stuff happens Joke aside they are both lovely, the fully polished 24 is in a class of its own.

Both look great and I share your feeling that both are 100% collection-worthy, but I think I might just be a 25 guy after all!

There is no wrong answer and you may well end up getting both in the end!
I've actually got my eye on one
a 25 with tritium dial. Best of both worlds? Or maybe, on the other hand, the duller ti works better with more modern looking luminova, and the steel with the more vintagey yellowed tritium? I'm having trouble!
