I love the case and the dials
... but I don't think they work well together. The case is big, thick, and rugged, while the dial printing is small, refined, and elegant. The delicacy of the dials is incongruous with the hefty case, to my eye. When I first saw these watches, I thought, 'hmmm, interesting.' But then I began to think there is an imbalance. If the printing were a little larger or more striking, that would help. Alternatively, the dials could be used on a more compact, trimmer case. As much as I love the large, 47mm Panerai cases, the latter would be my recommendation since Panerai has come up with an elegant dial design but doesn't have the case to pair it with ;-)

Forgive my rudeness. In my focus to respond to your question, I failed to mention how wonderful those photos are and how they capture the sexy shape of the case and the detail of the dials and hands.
Additionally, these are really nice Panerai. I like the "deco" dials and the break from the same old hands. The hands remind me of those found on a pocket watch. -John

I have yet to try on a Due
... but was a little put off by the water resistance and shrinking of the large classic case designed for legibility in water. If Due is the only option, yes, I could see the dials working. But those dials are so refined and elegant, almost delicate, that...

No offense my friend but they don’t look like a panerai at all. It’s like they were running out of ideas so let’s create something new. The dial definitely looks like Art Deco but not for me. Just my 2 cents
