If the case is different, especially whether it is a 1 or 2 piece design with the bezel separate from the case as it could potentially cut costs.

2% of Rolex's sales. I don't know if Panerai's appeal, would warrant the creation of a new case. Maybe a little initial "hype" but it miight probably fizz out, pretty quickly. That would be pretty bad, I think

if you don't create and image of change, people will get bored, in the end. So, Cellini for Rolex, McChiken for McDonalds, Ciliege for LV, respond to this requirement. The Panerai Due, is the "Cellini" of Panerai, so far. IMO of course

Nico, would you put the PAM 0080 in this category? It has a smaller Radiomir-style pebble case (42mm), with sun ray blue dial—all a little more luxe looking than the tool watch vibe—with an independent seconds complication. I sometimes wonder if it runs a... 

So close to the 372. Panerai does this a lot. Too much in my opinion.

I wonder why it doesn’t bother me as much with Rolex ? 😂
