Strange I know but being back from SIHH2018 I realize this might be one of the best years ever. What did they offer ? Not too much! Since many, many years we had way too many Limited editions and that's the reason why I lost quite some interest in Panerai...

I'm not sure if it's wrong for them, or any respectable watch brand, to go into complication? They are a business after all and complications are a perfectly legitimate way for them to grow organically and to appeal to wider audience. I think as long as t...

I guess there’s no lume? So it might sound strange calling it a Radiomir. But I guess people who don’t know the history wouldn’t care. Radiomir and Luminor are now case shapes rather than lume material. I agree that the original Radiomir case with wire lu... 

And I was patiently waiting for fellow Purists to bring up this watch! While I'm still reserving my judgement until I get to spend some time w/ this piece, I have to applaud OP for doing something different. I see this as a very reasonable attempt to win ... 

I would rather have "modern" models like these (by the truckload) than any..complicated Breiteling-look-alike/wannabe!!!

Also another recent release that I like was the Mare Nostrum. Uncharacteristically Panerai but lovely piece still. I hope Panerai regains its former glory! Miss those days when all my friends are knocking around with their pams

Panerai have been to greedy, but I still love some of the past watches that were true to the original concept.
